I co-founded Space Coyote, one of California’s top infused preroll cannabis brands. By using market data combined with my design and branding expertise, the product was able to solve for a huge gap in the cannabis consumer market. I developed all aspects of the Space Coyote brand from the name and logo to the product and packaging. Space Coyote immediately became an in demand product with a brand that people fell in love with (and still love today), and is now a household name among cannabis consumers.
It has been fun to be interviewed on podcasts and publications. This is my favorite Forbes article.
I have also been a guest writer on various design topics. This is my favorite piece in Dieline.
Another fun one about Space Coyote is our weekly livestream that has a viewership of 1M+ on Facebook.
The Space Coyote Bus is exactly what it sounds like: a magical weed bus that drives around California, spreading the good word about joints that blast you off to outer space. Translating the brand into a large vehicle took many hands and brains. I led a design and fabrication agency through bringing this vision from concept to life.

My ultimate favorite band for that stoned in the backseat nostalgia is Slightly Stoopid. I thought there would be no more fitting of a band to do a collaboration with Space Coyote, and kept mentioning them in interviews, articles, and podcasts until one day they heard and got in touch.
I managed the partnership and designed all assets including the limited edition collectible tin packaging. We launched two different SKUs for this collaboration.
The band Poolside is known for its daytime disco and it felt natural to do a collaboration with Space Coyote. Best known for their song Harvest Moon, this groovy disco is the musical counterpart to the physical brand that is Space Coyote.
In this collaboration, I designed the limited edition pack of joints in a collectible tin, vinyl artwork, digital album artwork, and music videos all to celebrate their EP titled I Feel High.

Eaze is the largest online cannabis marketplace for consumers to order directly to their door.
As Eaze’s Creative Director, I managed the creative team of designers, copywriters, and photographers and led the company through a full brand refresh along with new brand guidelines. We were part of successfully destigmatizing an emerging market – cannabis – and making it mainstream. I worked with the team on digital, print, and video, creating a brand experience that the customer was loyal to and evangelized.
While at Eaze, I led the creative team through major campaigns including billboards and bus ads throughout the state of California. These out of home media pushes caused such a stir that news stations picked up on the campaigns and ultimately, legislation was passed to tighten even more regulation on advertising. We made quite the splash and exponentially increased new users to the Eaze platform.
And yes, that parking enforcement vehicle really did have an accident with a city bus! Photo found on Reddit.
Videopixie is a Y-Conbinator company and is a platform for video freelancers and production teams to bid on new projects. As the Creative Director, I redesigned all aspects of the brand from logo to guidelines.
My favorite task while working at Videopixie was creating content for both video professionals and clients to learn about what makes videos successful on platforms like Kickstarter and how videos go viral. I also wrote and directed fun little animated videos to show what was possible by working with Videopixie creators.
Rebel Unit Media is a San Francisco based creative agency focused mainly on video for tech companies.
As Art Director at Rebel Unit, I worked with corporate clients such as Google and Salesforce. One project that has always stayed with me was our work on Google's presence during Shark Week. My role combined creating the assets along with directing the animators on motion graphics.
During my time at IDEO, I had the incredible experience of getting my feet wet in the Toy Lab working for clients such as Mattel and Hot Wheels. I was also a production artist on the Sesame Street app Elmo’s Monster Maker, crafting some hilarious options for kids to get creative, themed around different seasons of the year.
